Do you trust the blueprint?

The Grace to escape | Text: Acts 9 : 23- 25

Reflection:

When we really take a look into the core of Acts, one thing is common in the storyline and that is the suffering of the people who chose to follow God. When God calls you, he won't call you to do things the conventional way. There will be great controversy when you choose to follow Christ.

Saul persecuted the church for years and God still chose him to partake in the spreading of the Gospel. God chooses whoever he wants to and he doesn't seek the crowd's permission either. Saul became a person of interest for the Jews and things got intense real fast because of the influence behind Saul's anointing. They could no longer deny him.

Saul became aware of the Jews' plot to kill him. Interestingly enough, I would have expected Saul to become fearful and submit to the Jews, but instead he trusted God to hide him and give him the grace to escape. Saul trusted God with his life. He experienced the power of God and I can only imagine in times of reflection how amazed he would be by the way God changed his story. Saul trusted the blueprint that God had for his life. Even when the people he was called to minister to plotted to kill him, he trusted God.

Trust the blueprint of God. God will not call you to something he wont take you through. There is nothing that can be said or done that God is unable to see and protect you from. Believe in the grace behind the anointing. The Grace to be hidden, the grace to escape whatever circumstances/traps/snares/plots/ploys/ or attacks the enemy has lined up for your life; but first you have to trust the blueprint! Do you trust the blueprint?

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for trusting me with your anointing and power to minister to people even when its unconventional or controversial. I pray Lord that as you give me the grace to escape the plans and schemes of the enemy, you will also give me the courage to trust your blueprint. Give me wisdom to see things like you do so I will not run out in fear trying to escape when all I need is for you to hide me. My life is in your hands Lord.
