Are you ready for the move you've been praying for?

Is your house prepared? | Text: Luke 10 vs 2

Reflection:

As children of the lord, we are called to serve. Service isn't easy to consistently do when we are at the mercy of those that we serve to be grateful for our efforts. You cannot suspend your walk as a child of God because someone didn't appreciate the way you served. It is also easy to get caught up in the applause of the crowd and get lost in the comfort of being in accepted when God is calling you out of those safe zones. As we go by day by day striving to serve the Lord in the best way, we can we ask him to bless us in reward for our faithfulness.

We tend to not consciously think of the weight of the request that we are asking of the Lord.

Luke 10 vs 2 speaks about the harvest being ripe but the laborers are few. Ever thought to yourself that the laborers are few because of our lack of preparation? God will not establish you in big places if you're thinking small. So the question to you is, are you prepared for what you've been praying for?

We have to be responsible and courageous enough to be blessed. It costs to be a winner!

I challenge you today!

Look into yourself and make sure that your mind is open to allowing God to bless you. Make sure that your heart's posture won't change once the blessing is manifested. Are you prepared to walk into a season of self sabotage or a season of blessings? Being blessed requires humility. Be humble enough to acknowledge the defects in you that might be blocking your blessing.

Prayer

Abba, I ask of you to reveal my own shortcomings to me. I am careful now to not only pray for blessings but to also ask for the grace to be able to prepare for the good gifts that come from you. Take my heart and mold it, take my mind and transform it for there is no offence found in you. Teach me to be humble and responsible enough for the season of blessings I've been praying for, Be my strength when your will starts hurting me lord. I put it all in your hands. Purify me Lord!

Amen
